The Mexico City Grand Prix provided Ferrari with an encouraging result, as Charles Leclerc finished second to Lando Norris. He was 30 seconds behind and was probably fortunate to hold the position, as a Virtual Safety Car halted a charging Max Verstappen from snatching the spot — something Leclerc admitted likely would have happened. The result, however, allowed Ferrari to overtake Mercedes for second place in the Constructors’ Championship.
