Every so often in racing, something happens that sends your needle straight into the red. In Mexico, the way events unfolded at the start of the Grand Prix was, frankly, ridiculous. Sure, it looked thrilling — four cars abreast heading into Turn 1 — but at least two of the drivers knew they had a “Get Out of Jail” card and would, if necessary, skip across the grass rather than attempt the right-left-right combination properly.
