The fact that our friend Peter Wright chose not just to write but also publish his autobiography, How Did I Get Here?, in 2024 said much about his character. In typical engineer style he wanted to control every phase, and the self-publishing route appealed as the best option, rather than dealing with a publisher’s ideas of what it should be. And, again typically, the result was excellent.
