There have been whispers in recent weeks that the Korean car giant Hyundai is keen to buy an F1 team and get into the sport. And there is talk of Geely too. Obviously in 2026 there will be newcomers in Audi and Ford and in 2028, if ll goes well, Cadillac will be coming in too. Why is this happening? What is it that F1 is offering the manufacturers that was not the case before?
