‘Rookies’ Arvid Lindblad and Paul Aron took over driving duties for Red Bull and KICK Sauber respectively, as those teams honoured their young-driver commitments in Friday morning’s opening FP1 session at Silverstone. Arvid borrowed Yuki Tsunoda’s Red Bull RB21, while Paul took Nico Hülkenberg’s Sauber C45. Both performed strongly and without any undue dramas.
