Two rookies ran in FP1 at the Red Bull Ring, as McLaren and Ferrari honoured their commitment to give young drivers track time on four occasions during the season. Current Formula 2 man-in-form Alex Dunne took over Lando Norris’s McLaren MCL39, while Dino Beganovic got his second opportunity, this time in Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari SF-25.
