In the days after the British Grand Prix, Christian Horner, Formula 1’s longest-serving team principal, who has led Red Bull Racing since the start in 2005, was removed from his role by Red Bull. The news came as a surprise because until the day before the decision was made, Horner still had the support of the Chalerm Yoovidhya, Red Bull’s majority shareholder.
