The Alpine Formula 1 team is owned by Renault, or at least 76 percent of the shares are owned by the French car manufacturer. The other 24 percent belong to a consortium of American investors, led by Otro Capital, a spin-off from RedBird Capital Partners, which deals exclusively with sports investments. But who knows what the future will hold?
